Reviewers.com offers a single subscription plan that includes one monthly campaign credit, with the option to launch additional campaigns at any time. This article covers how pricing works, how credits are earned and used, and what happens when you're charged for extra campaigns.
How pricing works
Reviewers.com has one plan - no tiers or upgrades to worry about.
| Monthly price | $150/month |
| Included campaigns | 1 per billing cycle |
| Extra campaigns | $150 each |
Your plan includes 1 campaign per billing cycle at no additional cost. If you want to run more campaigns in the same cycle, each additional campaign is charged as an extra.
Free trial
All new merchants get a 30-day free trial when they first install Reviewers.com.
During the trial, you get 1 campaign included at no cost. If you use that campaign and want to launch another one during the trial, the extra campaign will be charged.
If you cancel or uninstall within 30 days, you won't be charged for the subscription. On day 31, your first full billing cycle begins.
Note: If you uninstall and reinstall the app during your free trial, your remaining trial days are preserved. For example, if you used 10 days before uninstalling, you'll still have 20 days left when you come back. However, if you already used your free campaign, it won't reset - any new campaigns launched during the remaining trial will be charged.
How credits work
There are two types of credits in Reviewers.com: monthly credits and extra credits.
Monthly credit - You receive 1 monthly credit at the start of each billing cycle. This credit does not roll over. If you don't use it before your cycle resets, it expires.
Extra credits - These are granted when a campaign is canceled, when a campaign results in a low reviewer match, or when our support team adds them to your account. Extra credits never expire - they carry over through billing cycles, uninstalls, and reinstalls.
When you launch a campaign, the system uses your monthly credit first. If your monthly credit has already been used, it checks for extra credits next. Only when both are unavailable will you be charged for the campaign.
Note: Read more about what happens when uninstalling or reinstalling.
Where to see your credit balance
Your extra credit balance is displayed inside the app when you have 1 or more extra credits available. If your balance is 0, the credit section is hidden.
The monthly credit is not shown as a balance. Instead, you'll see it referenced at the final step of the campaign creation flow, along with the date your next monthly credit resets.
What happens when you launch a campaign
When you reach the final step of campaign creation, the system checks for credits in this order:
- Monthly credit available. The final screen confirms your campaign will use the included monthly credit. A note shows when your next credit resets. There will be no charge.
- Extra credits available (no monthly credit). The final screen confirms 1 extra credit will be used. No charge.
- No credits available. A payment screen lets you know that your included campaign for this month has been used, shows when your next credit resets, and displays the charge amount. Your campaign is submitted after you approve the charge and the payment goes through.
Note: Your monthly subscription includes one campaign per month, but you can purchase additional campaigns at any time for $150 each.
Getting extra credits
You may receive extra credits in the following ways:
- Campaign cancellation - If a campaign is rejected by our team or canceled (either on your end while in "pending" status, or due to not enough qualifying Reviewers being matched with your campaign), 1 extra credit is returned to your account
- Additional credits - Credits can be purchased through a one-time payment link provided by our team
Extra credits granted through any of these methods never expire.
FAQs
Q: Do unused monthly credits roll over to the next billing cycle?
A: No. Your monthly credit resets at the start of each billing cycle. If you don't use it, it expires.
Q: What happens to my extra credits if I uninstall the app?
A: Your extra credits are preserved. When you reinstall, they'll be restored to your account. Read more here.
Q: Do I have to be using Loox to use Reviewers.com?
A: Nope! Reviewers.com is a standalone Shopify app, and you don't need to also use Loox to benefit from Reviewers.com.
Q: Can I see how many monthly credits I have left?
A: The monthly credit is shown during the campaign creation flow at the final step. Since you get 1 per cycle, it's either available or already used.
Q: What is the usage charge cap?
A: The usage charge cap is a pre-approved spending limit set through Shopify when you install the app. The cap is set at $5,000/month, but any additional campaigns (usage) are only charged with your explicit permission in the campaign creation process. No charges will be made without your explicit approval.
Q: What happens if a running campaign is active when my billing cycle resets?
A: Running campaigns are never interrupted by a billing cycle reset. Your campaign will continue as expected, and has only used your available credit that you had at the time of campaign creation.
